Géraldine Duvanel

From her earliest professional experiences, Géraldine Duvanel developed an approach centred on dialogue, narrative and relationship. As a specialised educator working with placed youth and their families, she was confronted early on with contexts marked by adversity, where trust is built step by step.

She continued her path at the University of Fribourg, where she spent twenty years combining research and teaching, first in curative education and later in social work and social policy. Her doctorate, grounded in a life-narrative methodology, fed an expertise in narrative analysis that she now applies to reading organisations, with a strong interest in governance and institutional dynamics.

After several years as a partner in a consulting firm, she founded takt in 2020, driven by the wish to bring academic knowledge closer to the field. There she developed a systemic approach to organisations, drawing on her skills in institutional analysis, conflict management and group dynamics to support both calm periods and moments of strong turbulence, in service of transformation, human relationships and organisational systems. She also co-directs the HEIG-VD’s CAS in workplace mediation.
