Géraldine Duvanel and Barbara Ferrari place their expertise and network at the service of their clients, supporting them in their strategic and operational challenges with tact, know-how and efficiency. Géraldine Duvanel
Géraldine Duvanel founded Takt in 2020 after several years as a partner within consulting firm based in French-speaking Switzerland. With a strong interest in bridging academic knowledge and real-world organizational practice, she applies a systemic approach to help institutions navigate both human and structural challenges.
She holds a PhD in Special Needs Education and is a mediator specializing in the management of organizational tensions. She also co-directs the CAS in Workplace Mediation at HEIG-VD (School of Engineering and Management of the Canton of Vaud). Before moving into academia, she worked as a social educator with placed youth and their families. She later joined the University of Fribourg, first in Special Needs Education and then in Social Work & Social Policy, where she combines research and teaching through a systemic and sociological lens.
Her expertise in institutional analysis, social dynamics, conflict and resistance management, as well as group processes, enables her to intervene both in stable environments and during periods of significant turbulence — always in support of organizational transformation, healthy relationships and resilient systems.
Barbara Ferrari
Throughout her career in Switzerland and abroad, Barbara Ferrari has built a holistic approach to organizational development, combining human dynamics, governance, strategy and organizational culture. Specializing in change processes, she brings a systemic perspective to support organizations as they navigate transformation.
She holds a Master’s degree in Humanities, an MBA and a Federal diploma in Public Relations. She worked in public administration and SMEs before supporting multinational companies as part of her role within an international consulting firm in Amsterdam. She joined takt consulting in 2021 and is now a co-owner of the firm. This diverse professional journey shapes her ability to understand and work with the multiple realities that organizations face today.
Her areas of expertise include leadership, organizational communication, change management and strategc & cultural development. Alongside her consulting work, Barbara Ferrari teaches at SUPSI (University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland) and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland (HEG Fribourg), and also serves as a corporate trainer.
